Don’t Quit

January 11, 2018 By Michael G. Stults Leave a Comment

I've had this poem below on my wall in some fashion for over 17 years staring me right in the face. I've carried it early on throughout my business endeavors to find inspiration when it all seemed to be crashing down or going against me. As I worked from my home office today, it just stuck out today from the wall.

It has always served as a reminder that things will go wrong in every facet of your life. It will appear daunting in it's struggles but it calls for a greater vision than what we can see set before us. A fortitude unlike no other that you can't pick up at a store for easy access and is really beyond your powers! [Read more…]

17 Things Successful People Do

April 2, 2013 By Michael G. Stults 2 Comments

I came across this infograph and found it pretty darn interesting to say the least. The original article that this infograph is tied to is titled: “17 Counterintuitive Things the Most Successful People Do” by  CEO of Docstoc, Jason Nazar.

As you continue reading the information below, you'll find things that you may not agree with and then maybe some things that you will. I would say, print this off and hang it up somewhere. I feel some of these points are valid but it also takes a disciplined person to achieve a few of these items below. Depending on your demeanor and how you communicate with people, you could go in the wrong direction with the approach. As with anything, opinions are a dime a dozen. You need to find what method works best for you because when you feel one way is the only way to go about a task, someone will come along and prove  you wrong.  [Read more…]

Manifesto of Focus: Recharging Your Battery

May 7, 2012 By Michael G. Stults 2 Comments

No, I'm not talking about the Duracel batteries but recharging your internal battery. We all get beat down and need that source of energy to fight through the rollacoaster they call life. You exactly know what I mean!

Today life throws so many curve balls at us that it is easy to get distracted. Such as in my industry, working online can even provide additional distractions. Things like email, instant messaging, Twitter, Facebook, online forums, blogs, other social networks, news sites, phones, mobile devices, text messages, Skype, podcasts, Google Alerts, mobile apps, videos, online music, online shopping, internet radio, paperwork, online games, solitaire, internet TV, and ebooks all provide a source of potential distracting outcomes through out the day. Oh, did I miss something? I am sure you can add kiddos, spouse, and etc to the list. 🙂 [Read more…]

30 Years And Counting

March 14, 2012 By Michael G. Stults Leave a Comment

I woke up yesterday and before I left early that morning to head to the gym, I told God “thank you” for allowing me 30 years on this earth. I told him that I hope that he has many more for me. This post isn’t going to be any detailed in depth reflection of my life up until this point but more to express my gratitude for some of the things I have been blessed to experience.

Everyone has a different perception of how life should be and what they want to accomplish. I’ve been blessed to have a wonderful wife whom I love very much. I have 3 sons when many couples struggle to even have children and I’ve been able to accomplish some success in my working life. [Read more…]

Adversity Expected

August 18, 2011 By Michael G. Stults Leave a Comment

Adversity Expected

Encountering adversity in life is to be expected. That should be the yellow warning sign that should be next to every birth certificate. We live in a deeply fallen world from all aspects. Now one could argue that isn't entirely true but we all know that there is evil all around us. Even bad things happen to good people; fair or not fair. [Read more…]

It Really Isn’t Health Care Reform

November 6, 2010 By Michael G. Stults Leave a Comment

Recently I've had the opportunity to learn a lot about how the new Health Care reform will affect my family's situation. Unfortunately, there is still more to learn and that will require going through the motions to gain that unwanted experience. Before I share more you need to know more about our story.

In May of 2008 my oldest son Brisan was 3.5 years old. Parker was 2 and Duncan was barely approaching six months of age.  As long as we could remember Brisan always had a runny nose with sinus problems along with a learning disability, enlarge liver and spleen. We were having surgery that month to remove his tonsils and adenoids and felt by electing to do this surgery that this could provide some relief for him. Now keep in mind, he had far bigger issues brewing but at that given time they had diagnosed him with several things that didn't quite seem to fit him to a tee. Something wasn't right. The diagnoses wasn't “fitting”. [Read more…]
